It just so happened that she was the only one who attended the teacher’s meeting that day. Or maybe it wasn’t happenstance. Justin had been captivated by the teacher at his work from day one, with her outgoing personality and her bubbly laugh that made everyone in the room turn their attention on her instantly. […]
The sun peeked over the mountains as Larissa and Charlie brushed the frost off of the brush on their hike up the trail in Garden of the Gods National Park. They walked hand in hand and reflected on the wild events that had taken place just a week and a half before. They had always […]
You could say she was just a girl. Just a girl that was the daughter of a friend of the family. They passed each other in the lobby of the church on Sunday mornings as their families stopped occasionally to chat. But to Nick, she stood out. Her contagious laugh and energy captured his attention. He knew that even though she might say no, he had to give it a shot. He knew that she could be the girl of his dreams, so he planned a day of picnics and adventure. They spent the whole day together and suddenly Karlie and Nick became partners with a wonderful, inseparable bond.
They’ll be married this November with their families and church friends that brought them together in the first place. As we explored the small lake town of Winona, it was so easy to tell the love that Karlie and Nick had for each other, and I can’t wait to see them become husband + wife. Karlie and Nick, thank you so much for making the drive and exploring Winona Lake with me, it was so worth it! Counting the days until the wedding – xx, M. P.S. Dear Nick, thank you for not getting mad at me when I called you by your brothers name 😉
They had been dating for five years. She tromped in the snow through the gardens of the Indianapolis Art Museum with him, hand in hand. The chilly winter air nipped at their cheeks, but the glow of the Christmas lights and the comforting warmth from his hand kept her body cozy and her soul happy. Ryan and Elise often toured the local museums, but this one during Christmas time was their absolute favorite. They admired and watched the families and couples touring the gorgeous white mansion that was nestled in the middle of the museum gardens. The glow of lights and Christmas decor shined through the windows and reflected brightly onto the cool, crisp air outside.
And just like that, she turned and he was down on one knee. Her best friend – the boy who had spent the last five years by her side, through school, hard work, the rainy Saturdays spent at museums and the sunny Sundays walking around downtown Indianapolis – had a ring in his hand and hope in his heart.
They’ll be married next May on a rooftop in Downtown Indy, surrounded by twinkling lights, champagne, celebrations, and the very best friends and family. To say that I’m excited for their wedding is an understatement. Ryan and Elise, it was such a magical and HOT evening exploring Indy with you!! Thanks so much for being the best troopers! xx- M
