I say this every year. But 2016 was a really big year. Really big. And wonderful. And full of love. I met so many amazing couples who poured out their heart and souls to me, let me document their biggest days and their quietest moments.

I end this year having done three destination weddings – traveling from Colorado to Michigan to Virginia – documenting 24 weddings and being two weddings away from being fully booked for 2017. I am speechless and blessed. While I will sorely miss eating wedding cake every weekend, I look forward to relaxing Saturdays and sleepy Sundays that aren’t spent recovering from the 12 hour day before. It’s time for recharging, some rebranding, and a bit of growth.

My husband and I were able to travel to Florida, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico this year. I shared a bit of the photos here, because I love traveling and documenting the world just as much as I love documenting people in love.

I’m beyond excited and anxious to kick off 2017 weddings- which contains some truly magical couples who are about to have the most wonderful weddings ever. And if you’re dreaming of exploring a distant land for your wedding, I still have yet to book a destination wedding and am chomping at the bit (check out the bucket list here). But for now, let’s toast to 2016 and all of these bright souls who fell in love.  xx – Morgan
