Shelby never dreamed that when she met Casey during her freshman year of high school, that he would become her best friend. Friendship grew to love, and they began a relationship that included the Navy, a long distance relationship and soon-to-be deployment. Through all of the challenges, they have stuck together because they both knew that there was no other option. They were meant to be together. 

The peacock-themed wedding was planned in a months time. AMAZING I know. I don’t know how Shelby did it, but not a single detail was overlooked. Shelby and Casey escaped the craziness of the wedding day by choosing seeing each other before the wedding. The ten minutes they had together alone were full of tears and “I love you’s.” This is why I completely love First Look sessions- it was a moment especially for Casey and Shelby, in the midst of all of the craziness. They married and celebrated at The Landmark Centre, surrounded by their closest friends and family the day after Christmas. It was the prettiest day full of sunshine and warm December weather.
