The wedding day started out warm and sunny. Meagan had ensured that every detail of the wedding decor had a personal touch, right down to the rings tied to the family bible as the ring bearer walked down the aisle. The day was filled with love and lots and lots of laughter as Meagan’s little girls squealed and bounced with excitement over the high heels, lip gloss, and dresses they were able to wear as the flower girls. They ran around everywehre proclaiming that they were “marrying Steven.” Steven, Meagan and the girls were finally becoming a family, and the love and excitement radiated throughout the day.
The rains started to pour in as the reception began, and Meagan remained cool and calm as the decorations were moved into the pavilion and the children splashed in the puddles and the rain. The ceremony was over, she had married the love of her life, and nothing could ruin her day. Luckily the rain was only a 15 minute summer storm, cooling the air as the dancing begun into the night.
