Fate had a way of making them run into each other, over and over again. They had met through a mutual friend but didn’t think anything of it. But as they passed each other at the grocery, saw each other at various get togethers, and kept finding themselves in the same room, something tugged at both of their heartstrings. They kindled a friendship and both secretly hoped it might blossom into something more. And as Bob spent his first “date” with Jenna teaching her how to drive a stick shift, he knew the upbeat, smiling and determined girl sitting in the drivers seat was going to effect his entire future.
Three years down the road at a Dave Matthews concert, Jenna was asked to take a group picture. As their friends and Bob crowded in and held chalkboards to their chests, Jenn was playing with the camera. As she looked through the screen, ready to capture the moment, her face turned to shock as her friends slowly turned the signs around to say “Will You Marry Me.” And there was Bob, holding the two most important things of all- the “?” and the ring.
They’ll be married next summer at a gorgeous backyard wedding at Bob’s sisters home. We decided to test out the property for the engagement session and it seriously couldn’t have gotten more gorgeous. Jenn and Bob, you two were such a joy to photograph and I’m so thrilled to document your day! Counting down-xx, M
