Hold onto your heartstrings! Kaitlan and Tyler’s Cafe Brauer wedding in Chicago was the perfect way to celebrate their love story and included some of the best parts of the city.  

Kaitlan shared about their love tale, and oh, it’s a gem! Picture this: Tyler, a first-year grad student at U of I, and Kaitlan, a senior in undergrad, meet at a Jimmy John’s at 2 am after the bars close. Not the most romantic setting, but here they are, 8 years later, proving that love stories can bloom anywhere and anytime! Tyler, being the affectionate and emotional one, definitely made the first move. And oh, the dreamy day dates of biking to breweries or hitting the dog beach with their fur baby – talk about relationship goals!

Their fun love story led us to their incredible wedding day. They got ready separately, and then came the first look – a moment that melts hearts and sets the tone for a day filled with romance and joy!

Portraits? Oh, you bet! We strolled through the city, capturing their love against the iconic backdrop of Chicago. The river, the Civic Opera Building, and all the quintessential Chicago city spots. Yes, even their adorable dog made a star appearance!

The ceremony was nothing short of enchanting, set in an ornate church with beautifully tall ceilings. But wait, the magic didn’t stop there! Cafe Brauer welcomed them for their reception, a space adorned with exposed brick and wood that set the stage for a night of celebration.

Gorgeous florals in ivory, pink, and orange, along with candles casting a warm glow, transformed the space into a romantic haven. After heartfelt speeches and a delightful dinner, the dance floor became the center of the universe as guests danced the night away, making memories that will last a lifetime.
