He was the class flirt. Every time he passed her in the high school hallway, he would tell her she looked beautiful as she scoffed, rolled her eyes, and tried her best to ignore him. He was a football player, she was a track star. Daily, their mutual coach poked and prodded at Kristin, encouraging her to just give Gabe a chance. But her stubborn soul refused. Because after the day that Gabe doodled “Kristin Mercer is beautiful” on the back of his exam and showed it off to the entire class, Kristin didn’t want anything to do with him. 

But the universe thought differently. And after ages of coaxing, begging, and the constant encouragement from friends, Kristin finally gave the class flirt a chance. Seven years later, she has a ring on her finger and she’s in his phone, to this day, as “Kristin Mercer is beautiful.” 

They’ll be married next year at the Sycamore at Mallow Run Winery, among golden trees, lush vineyards, friends, and family.
