The bridesmaid stood underneath the twinkle lights of Goeglein’s Homestead with champagne in hand. With tears in her eyes, she recounted the college days and how Emily and Adam first crossed paths. She found it only fitting, with Emily being a writer and Adam, being a storyteller, to described the relationship of Emily + Adam as a story with Volumes. Volume I: “We know each other through mutual friends but nothing more.” Volume II: “We’re best friends and secretly in love. Everyone knows it except us.” Volume 3: “I guess we’re dating.” Volume 4: “Is fiancee with one “E” or two?”

And then, on one of the hottest days of the Indiana summer, Emily and Adam danced and laughed under the willow tree as they celebrated their latest Volume: Married. Forever. Long awaited, long worked for, and long dreamed for. Emily and Adam, spending the day with you was the greatest joy and full of so many laughs and cheers. You have the best support team by your side and I can’t wait to see how you two take the world and create it into a beautiful story of your own.
