Rain drizzled down the window panes of The Wilds Wedding & Event Venue as the chairs were rushed inside. Sometimes, weather doesn’t cooperate with the dreams and plans of a wedding day. On a day like Bailey and Michael’s, even with the outdoor ceremony being cancelled, nothing could come in the way of the day being absolutely perfect and more than Bailey and Michael had ever envisioned.
They had never dreamed that when writing their own vows, they would include the same inside jokes and movie quotes – leaving them both in fits of laughter and family and friends stunned that two people could know each other so well. They had never dreamed that family from Israel and family from the Midwest would ban together and pour their hearts and soul into planning their wedding day, since Bailey and Michael resided in NYC. They had never dreamed that as the rain lightened in the evening, after the dances and speeches were done, that their guests would poor onto the patio and dance beneath the market lights, barefoot and happy as Israeli music mixed in with the classical weddings songs.
Bailey and Michael, this was the most magical evening and it’s crazy how much I relive it. Your family, your friends, you, are all the warmest and most kind souls and I’m so thankful I was able to be a part of it! Wishing you hundreds of years of the Office reruns and museum walks.
