Timeless. That was the ambience in the room as the band sang classic love songs that rose to the top dome of the Allen County Courthouse as Sarah and James danced with all of their wedding guests late into the July night. It was the vision behind their wedding day – Sarah and James knew that they wanted to look back on their wedding day in half a century and still be in love with every detail, every moment, and every song that was played, just like they would still be in love half a century later too.
The guests roared with laughter as James’ brother recounted the story of how Sarah and James met. Their moms had insisted. Yes, their moms. And as much as both of them fought the matchmaking, they knew after just a few moments that their moms were right. Sarah and James energy matched. Their laughs and smiles mimicked each other and they shared the same dreams for their future life. Sarah and James were meant to be, even if it was a fact that their mothers knew before they did.
Sarah and James, you are perfection – your families, your friends, your wedding day, and especially the two of you. I can’t thank you enough for letting me in on this tiny but incredibly important day of your lives and I can’t wait to watch you take on the world. All the love – xx, M & M
