They were both reporters that found themselves in a small, rural city in the middle of the midwest, working at the same TV station.  Alexis is the kind of girl who knows what she wants and sets out to make it happen, and when she met a coworker that made her laugh until her sides hurt, Alexis knew that there was something more to their relationship than a casual coworker friendship. As Alexis and Adam started talking more and meeting up outside of work, suddenly, their separate lives became balanced and unified.

Alexis and Adam’s  fun-loving, casual natures were perfectly matched it was then that they knew, even with the possibility of a long-distance relationship that loomed in the future, they had to make this love that they shared a choice. A choice to work their hardest to have careers in the same city. A choice to stay up into the early morning to finish their latest Netflix series. A choice to tolerate a room full of sports memorabilia and a choice to calm the nerves and anxiety that came with a hard-working, incredibly driven personality. They spent years making choices, small and large, that led to them choosing a life together as Adam presented Alexis with a coffee and a engagement ring on a sleepy Sunday morning. Just a short year later, they promised to be by each other’s sides for the rest of time, making a choice to love each other every single day in the downtown Cathedral in the city that their hearts called home.

Alexis and Adam, we literally cannot thank you enough for granting us the privilege of documenting your insanely magical day + love. We are so grateful, not only for the two of you, but for your friends and family that treated us like old friends and made us feel so welcome in sharing your day with you.
