He knew that she was the one from the moment they started sharing shifts at work. The way her eyes lit up when she smiled and her outgoing personality paired perfectly with his more introverted self. But what captivated him more than anything was how big her heart was. She deeply cared for the people close to her and went completely out of her way to befriend every person that crossed her path. She loved deeply and he knew that she had to be the one to hold his heart forever.
Grace’s kind and bright soul shined bright on the perfect sunny summer day when she prepared to face Adam down the aisle. For years they had waited and meticulously planned this day. All of the nieces, nephews, and family members that Grace had always cared so deeply for now had her back. They gave all the hugs and encouragement as she buttoned her dress and fixed her hair in preparation to marry the love of her life. And while she kept saying how excited she was to finally marry Adam, she also couldn’t stop uttering the words “family of three” as she talked about Adam’s daughter and finally becoming the step mom that she had waited to become all these years. Finally, as the church bells rang out in downtown Fort Wayne, the new little family walked hand in hand through the gardens and Riley through her arms around her dad’s neck as they shared a first dance together under the pillars of the USF Performing Arts Center.
Grace, Adam, and Riley – First off, thank you for the absolutely perfect weather 😉 We so loved spending time with your family and the two of you as you celebrated the best day of your life (so far). Thank you so much for the honor and the privilege – you two are the brightest and fiery souls and we loved documenting your day. All the love – xx, M&M
