They were introduced through their fathers, who eagerly pushed them together by way of showing Facebook profile’s, sharing pictures and giving them each other’s numbers. Their dads insisted that they would be perfect together and Ryan texted her shortly thereafter, knowing that the brown-eyed, dimpled girl in the Facebook profile was different. 

They headed to the bowling alley for their first date, and after realizing it was closed, they sat at the coffee shop talking away the evening.  They were both still in high school, but had a hunch that this was more than just a summer fling. Ryan was too nervous to even hold her hand in the movie that night, but that night sparked a summer love that will last a lifetime.

I first met Ryan and Megan by the pool one summer day five and a half years ago. Ryan was friends with my then boyfriend, now husband. We soon were double dating to our favorite Fort Wayne restaurants, spending summer nights playing golf with bottles of wine in hand, and meeting for our weekly Chevy’s night every Tuesday. As the double dates became more frequent, Megan and I’s friendship grew stronger. She stood by my side last August as I married my best friend and I was so thrilled to stand by hers as she married the love of her life, and another one of my best friends, Ryan.

Ryan and Megan, being a part of your day was indescribably magical. Brandon and I are so blessed to have you as the very best of friends, and thank you for letting me not only stand by your side, but also document your day.
