I can’t get enough of the gorgeous ivy-covered walls that provided the BEST background for this Salvage One Summer wedding!! There’s nothing like a vibrant green background to offset a white wedding gown and sharp classic tux. As a Chicago wedding photographer, I’ve been to this venue a few times before, and I LOVE it. So many unique couples’ style works well with the atmosphere, and the layout is great for ceremony and celebration!

Jimmy and Erin were the cutest couple!! I dare you to look through the following photos and not smile! Their joy is contagious. Erin tells their love story:

“Jimmy & I actually met in college when we both worked at the law library at University of Michigan, but only knew vaguely of each other. Flash forward a couple years and we matched on a dating app. Jimmy sent me a message saying, “Didn’t you work at the law library?” I thought it would be rude not to respond… and somehow we’re still here! We’ve been together for almost 6 years and engaged for about 1 year. Our favorite things to do include hanging out with our cat, watching Jeopardy, walking around our neighborhood (Roscoe Village) and exploring the Chicago restaurant & brewery scene.”

Cheers to reconnecting unexpectedly with old acquaintances! It just goes to show you never know where life may lead. And for these two, it lead to a gorgeous ceremony and celebration filled with family and friends at this Salvage One summer wedding!
