Where to even BEGIN with this beautiful boho Summer wedding at Union 12 wedding venue in Indiana?

Katelyn & Jake reached out and asked me to shoot their wedding day at Union 12, and I knew it was going to be a blast. Just getting to know them in the planning process, I could tell their wedding day was going to be one for the books. And I was right! From their dog in wedding attire, to the thoughtful details at the reception (and the fun dance party!!) – it was a fantastic boho Summer wedding.

Katelyn got ready privately from Jake, and they opted not to do a first look. We shot the bridesmaids & groomsmen apart from each other so that Jake could see Katelyn for the first time when she walked down the aisle. They were married outside at the Union 12 outdoor ceremony space, and it was stunning. They had a hexagon arch with boho flowers, which were right on theme. Katelyn was the most stunning bride with her hair down with a braid feature on the side & a stunning lace dress.

After they said “I do”, I snuck away with the newlyweds to a nearby field during golden hour for some couples portraits. I’m a sucker for golden hour portraits, and these two made it SO fun. They got photos with their beloved dog, who was wearing flowers and a tutu. And then we frolicked (there’s no other word for it!) through the field and celebrated the fact that these two were finally HUSBAND AND WIFE. Freaking YES!

After our photos, they entered their reception and the party started! Every detail was thought out from the doughnut pegboard to the raw frosting three tiered cake with a custom topper. Katelyn and Jake kicked off the dancing and then all their friends and family joined in. We closed out the night with a sparkler exit and lots of laughter.
