They both called the small street in Indiana home. Trevor was a few miles down the street and even though they had grown up together as friends, it was that one summer when they were fifteen that Jordan started riding her bike past his house a little more frequently then usual. They spent that summer bike riding, talking, and creating such a deep friendship that naturally, as the leaves turned colors, a relationship was created.
Going through all the stages of life together – childhood, the teenage years, and now adulthood- they’ve waiting years to finally become husband and wife. And as they walked in one of their favorite spots in downtown Fort Wayne one day, Trevor looked at Jourdan, the pretty brown eyed woman with the most contagious laugh, and got down on one knee.
They’ll be married almost exactly a year from now – next October – on the same day that Trevor’s parents, grandparents, and great grandparents were married. And as his grandparent’s stand hand in hand watching their grandson recite his vows to his very best friends, they’ll be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. To say the day will be emotional and full of love is an understatement, and Jordan and Trevor – I can’t tell you how excited I am for it! Counting down the days – xx, M
