There’s literally nothing better than exploring your hometown with a couple that loves it just as much as you do. Amanda and Austin immediately knew that they wanted to see the murals downtown and see the fall color that Indiana was starting to showcase – cause that’s one thing that Indiana does right – fall. We smelled the scents of Pint and Slice and the Dash In as we reluctantly talked about the poor choices we made of doing an engagement session during dinner time. Amanda and Austin joked about how they had never imagined that they would find their soon-to-be spouse via a dating app, but dang, look at them now.
Their first date was at a local Irish pub and they both recount it as the most easy going date they ever had. Austin had proposed to Amanda at one of his favorite places in the world – the Masters down in Georgia after a year of being together. They’ll be married next year in downtown Fort Wayne at the Botanical Gardens. Since the venue doesn’t allow dogs, we had to invite their two freaking adorable pups to the engagement session. Amanda and Austin, SO glad we waited on the weather and didn’t have to freeze our butts off in the rain and mud. Beyond excited for the wedding next year and to have another laid-back, easygoing day with you. Sending all the good vibes on the house and the planning! All the love – xx, M
