Anne and Geneva knew from the start that their vision for their wedding day needed to embody both of their personalities, hearts, and styles. It needed to reflect Geneva’s impeccable style and love of food and Anne’s extremely caring, extroverted heart. They knew that Salvage One was the perfect reflection of their love of antiques, exploration, quirkiness, and casual atmosphere that made their winter wedding warm, cozy, and a ton of fun.  Not a single detail was missing – Geneva spent hours hand calligraphing every guest place card and Anne made sure that the guest experience was everything it could be.  There wasn’t a single guest who didn’t cry a happy tear during a speech or have a giant grin on their face when Anne and Geneva became wife and wife. They had watched Anne and Geneva work for this day for years, compete for the best proposal, and pour their heart and soul into a wedding day that reflected exactly who they were. In return for the steadfast support from their family and friends, Anne and Geneva took impeccable care of their guests between ice cream bars, endless cheese platters, photo booths, insane food, and the best wedding playlist a dance floor could ask for. They joyously embraced the snow storm (a storm they both secretly prayed for) that hit Chicago that day and danced in the in the late night snow fall as the music echoed through the window panes of Salvage one. Also, can we talk about how insanely gorgeous the bridesmaids were in the black tuxes? New trend please!

Anne and Geneva, I don’t even have words. Your wedding day was impeccable and Madi and I can’t thank you enough for welcoming us in, treating us like family, and privileging us with the honor of watching you become wife and wife.
