Neither of them expected to be standing on the porch of Union 12 when they met for their first date at Starbucks a few years back. Neither of them envisioned the warm spring breeze, the handwritten vows, the merging of a family, the donut walls, the karaoke, the endless dancing, laughter and hugs. But as Ashley walked up to Matt and they locked eyes during their first look on the wedding day that neither of them initially expected, nothing more in the world made sense or felt more right than that moment right there.

Everyone in the room said the same thing – Ashley and Matt were meant for each other. Her bubbly laugh paired perfectly with his quiet demeanor and laid-back goofiness. Matt dotes on Ashley in the way she always deserved, and Ashley pours her heart and soul into making him feel loved and cared for. Their hearts are completely devoted to each other and their world revolves around the kids that raced down the aisle and threw their arms around Matt with the biggest smiles on their faces. Everything about their relationship, their life, their future, just makes sense.

Ashley and Matt, I’m so sad your day is over because experiencing this journey with you has been the greatest privilege. You have the best hearts and I don’t deserve you but I am so grateful for you. I can’t wait to watch how you support and care for each other, Camden and Lillian in this crazy life. You guys are the best. All the love – xx, M&M
