The floor of the Artsgarden literally shook as the entire room cheered when Lainie and Jack announced that they gave in to the constant insistence that they duet at their own wedding reception. Rain poured down the windows and the spotlight created a warmth in the whole room as the music to “A Whole New World” from Aladdin began and Lainie and Jack began to sing. Everyone stopped in their tracks and the whole room was silent, because not only were their voices completely captivating, but their relationship and demeanor around each other almost took your breath away.
Every single person in that Artsgarden had encouraged Lainie and Jack for years to start dating. Every time a comment was made, they insisted that they were just best friends. But after years of being roommates and best friends passed, they realized they couldn’t live without anyone else. Constant tears were shed throughout the day by their friends, family, and themselves because everyone recognized just how far they had come and how hard they had worked. There was just so much joy, everywhere. From the first look, to Lainie walking down the aisle, to the duet and the speeches that spoke high praise of Lainie and Jack beyond measure, to the dance floor filled with family and cotton candy snacks, it was a day that celebrated the long road and the unity of two best friends that were meant to be husband and wife.
Lainie and Jack, I’m so glad you made it here. You two are the brightest souls and are the perfect fit for each other. I can’t wait to see how you conquer your careers, your adventures, and your life by each others side. Watching and documenting your relationship was the greatest privilege. All the love – xx, M&M&K
