The summer heat couldn’t put a damper on this Bridgeport Art Center wedding! From portraits around Chicago to the cutest frenchie flower girls you could ever dream of, this was such a perfect day. As a Chicago wedding photographer, I love bouncing around the city for those iconic shots!
We spent the day together capturing portraits at the classic Chicago spots like the Wrigley Building and Board of Trade. The sculpture garden at the Bridgeport Art Center was a stunning place to grab some more portraits of the couple and their cute pups, Tootsie and Poppy. Can we talk about how adorable these pups were?! They were the most perfect flower girls.
Kelsie’s dress was so classic and sophisticated, with an oversized bow in the back, a fitted bodice, and a full skirt. She and Casey looked phenomenal against the backdrop of the city. But you can’t beat the photos of them together on the staircase among greenery or Kelsie in the tub. LOVE!
They ended their evening with Kelsie’s outfit change into a jumpsuit sourced from her mother’s wedding gown. Such a personal and sentimental touch! The couple was also surprised with Sparkie, the U of Michigan mascot as a grand finale to their Bridgeport Art Center wedding.
The only thing better than their big day is their love story. Kelsie shared with us:
“We will have been together for 9 years by the time we are married. Started out as friends, and there was always a reason we couldn’t be together. Then one day it happened! I saw a psychic at one point in time and she said we were twin flames. So many reasons our relationship should’ve been hard, but fate kept pulling us back together!”
We are so happy they were pulled together and that they invited us to be a part of celebrating their love!
