Check out the sweetest spring wedding at Artifact Events! Kat & Phillip had the most joyous day! And as a Chicago wedding photographer, I gotta say there’s nothing better for a classic wedding backdrop than new leaves, spring flowers, and pastel accessories.

Kat’s dress was straight up Audrey Hepburn, with a boat neckline and dramatic pleats of simple, gorgeous silk. We took several shots at a lovely green gazebo, that fit the classic style of this couple to a T. But get a look at the STUNNING moody photos we were able to take in the late afternoon sunshine filtering through the venue’s windows! I can’t even. It’s a cinematic, timeless feel that is unbeatable.

But even better than the photos, Kat and Phillip’s love story is so cute! Kat tells us more:

“I’m from the Chicago suburbs & Phillip is from Vermont. We met via Bumble while I was in med school at University of Vermont. We met downtown Burlington on their main street “Church Street” and just went to have a couple of drinks. We spent a lot of the evening talking & he didn’t end up going home until pretty late! The rest is essentially history. I like to kid with him since he dropped the “L word” literally 2 weeks into our relationship but then took him forever to propose. :)”
