From meeting during their freshman year in college to their Galleria Marchetti wedding in Chicago, this is a love story for the books! Their wedding was so thoughtfully planned, and they were so excited to celebrate with all their favorite people in the city they fell in love with.

Gabby and Matty met at a good ol’ college party almost 10 years ago. Both theatre majors, they moved to Chicago to pursue their acting careers 5 years ago. Of course, they fell in love with the city (how could you not?!) and were so excited to invite everyone to their new home to celebrate their love.

The festivities kicked off with a welcome party on the Chicago River. I don’t know a better way to start a party, especially with all those big city nighttime vibes!

On their big day, they got ready separately with their friends and family. They met up at the church for a heartfelt ceremony in a gorgeous and ornate sanctuary. Then, it was off to portraits.

It wouldn’t be a Chicago wedding if we didn’t hit some of the iconic spots in the city. We headed out to get some classic photos of the wedding party and the newlyweds. After capturing some traditional posed photos, we wandered around and caught some more candid photos, which I love. The couple’s portraits made it clear how in love Gabby and Matty are. They were so into each other and had such a great time together.

It was finally time to head to the reception. After a grand entrance, guests shared toasts and a delicious dinner before heading to the dance floor to dance the night away. I have to say, these two really know how to have fun. From the laughter as they got ready, to the way they let loose at their reception, the whole day at their Galleria Marchetti wedding was so much fun to be a part of.
