She kept insisting that they would be perfect together. Allison’s best friends mom kept bringing up this stranger in every conversation, begging Allison to add him on Facebook. Just talk to him. Just meet him. They would be a great couple- he was funny, smart, and a bit of a nerd. So was she. They went to the same school. Liked the same things. It was meant to be. 

Reluctantly, after ages of persistence from her best friends mom, Allison gave in. She started talking to Dustin, and they immediately hit it off. As they found themselves in endless conversation over the bowl of chips and salsa at the favorite local Mexican joint, Allison knew that her friend’s mom might be right- they were perfect for each other. 

They spent the next few years together, bonding over comic books, academics, and adventure. He proposed on the day she turned in her thesis for grad school- the day one chapter of her life ended and another one began.  They’ll be married next summer with a wedding full of bright colors and light sabers, and it’s going to be just the craziest fun wedding – I seriously can’t wait Allison and Dustin! xx – M
