They knew from the beginning that they didn’t want this day to just be about them. Ever since the very beginning, when they bonded over Notre Dame games and craft beer, their friends were right beside them, cheering on the couch at touchdowns and spending weekends touring breweries and wineries with them. Through all of the Skype dates, the long distance, and the weekend drives, their friends and family had coached, cheered, and supported them through thick and thin. Even when Matt knelt on one knee in the middle of the local vineyards, their friends were there to witness and celebrate the moment. And during the warm summer midwest day in the middle of downtown Fort Wayne, their friends popped the champagne and ensured that Lauren and Matt’s wedding day was everything they could have possibly dreamed of.
As the golden sunlight streamed through the windows of Bergstaff place, toasts were made and happy tears were shed as Lauren and Matt danced their first dance as husband and wife – finally. The two had poured their heart and soul into every aspect of their day – from the bridal party picture feature to leaving dog treats as favors for guests dogs, they thought of everyone but themselves. Lauren and Matt, you two have my heart forever and ever. Spending the day with you was beyond a privilege and documenting your relationship and the people around you that love you so dearly filled my soul. It’s such a blessing to call you now friends and I can’t wait to see what you two make of the world. All the love, xx- M & M
