I thought that it was officially spring until I pulled into the drive of Red Barn Acres and a fresh snow was sprinkled on the ground. Somehow, even after months of couples yearning for a white wedding and not getting lucky, Mary and Anthony got just what they had hoped for on the early March morning. The whole property smelled like breakfast food which is the best smell in the entire world (I see you Leslie Knope), and mimosas, bloody marys, and hot coffee were being prepped for the brunch that would take place after the Mary and Anthony said their vows surrounded by the closest family and friends.
Just a short year before, Mary had packed her bags and moved to the Midwest on a whim. A few weeks later she met Anthony and six months later, they were planning their wedding. I love gut instincts and I love couples that just freaking GO for it, and that’s them. Most people take a year to plan their wedding and these two did that + the whole dating thing in less time. Anthony breaks Mary out of her comfort zone, completely hammed it up for the camera and got that girl to laugh so hard, while Mary keeps Anthony grounded and focused. They have the sweetest souls and will focus on anyone but themselves, all of the time.
Mary and Anthony, you two are the absolute freakin’ best and I can’t wait to see all the crazy things you do with your life. I hope you enjoyed the tropics, sunshine, and good weather after freezing your toes off in the snow. All the love, and let’s meet at Conjure SOON. xx – M
