Is there anything more romantic than an elegant outdoor shoot? This Mortem Arboretum engagement session could not have been more beautiful! The wooded paths and grassy slopes made a perfect backdrop for the bride’s two looks: a floor-length red lace gown and knee-length cream chiffon dress.
These two were the sweetest people to work with! And so ready to relax and have fun! There was enough twirling, frolicking, and sweeping-off-her-feet to fill a feature length rom-com. 🙂 But the love these two clearly have for each other goes way deeper than a surface-level romance. Just listen to their love story, told by the bride-to-be:
“My partner and I met in a club in San Francisco, CA while I was visiting some friends. Turns out he grew up in the suburbs of Illinois too! We kept in touch and the rest is history. In 2019 I was diagnosed with Steven-Johnson’s Syndrom/Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis and spent one month in a medically induced coma due to my injuries. I had to learn how to walk, talk and eat again along with multiple surgeries. Nick proposed in the hospital room after I woke up from my coma and was recovering.“
