The simple love is sometimes the best love. The kind that sneaks up on you, comes quietly, and is sweetly uncomplicated. If any couple fits this category, it’s Kelsea and Dave. Kelsea first ran across Dave when she brought her car in for some work and something about the cute mechanic captivated her. They started talking and hanging out on and off again for a few months, until suddenly they realized that their goofy personalities and laid back demeanors complimented each other more than anyone else they had ever known. It wasn’t long before they started talking about marriage and a life together.  Dave persistently asked her to marry him, but every time Kelsea laughed it off as a lighthearted, joking question. Then one evening, as Kelsea was doing dishes and going about their regular evening routine, Dave wrapped his arms around her, asked her the question, and she replied with a resounding yes.

Although we completely froze ourselves during their engagement session, Kelsea and Dave will be married under the hot summer sun on the anniversary of their first date. They’ll surrounded by family and friends up in the UP of Michigan – a place where Kelsea spent her childhood summers and a place near and dear to her heart.
