couple dancing at sunrise eagle marsh engagement session

She almost got drunk on purple hazes from The Deck (which is a very easy thing to do) on the day he proposed. He told her to slow down, which ticked her off quite a bit but Michelle is the kind that picks and chooses when to push the envelope. And thank goodness that she […]

It was a decade ago that she found herself on Trevor’s boat, in the middle of the water, barefoot and watching the sunset with the coworker that she hardly knew. Nobody else had showed up to the party, but Krystal embraced it and spent the evening with Trevor anyway. Shortly into the boat ride, she […]

They were high school sweethearts – the kind where everyone around them thought they should be together long before they themselves admitted it. For such a long time, they were just friends. That was it. That was all they would ever be. Courtney’s bubbly and outgoing personality would not be a good match with Seth’s rather shy and laid-back demeanor. But in all reality, they were the perfect balance.

They spent the next handful of years supporting one another and being each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Even through the long distance and the weeks where life was a whirlwind, they were there for each other. No matter what, they met up for football games, tailgating, movie nights, and wine. It was only appropriate that after almost 7 years, that Seth handed Courtney a bottle of handmade wine with a custom-made label that depicted the two of them and the words “Will You Marry Me?” scripted on it.

Since Seth proposed with wine, we thought it was only appropriate to celebrate their engagement at a winery. They’ll be married next summer in front of the loved ones that have supported them all along. Courtney and Seth – I can’t wait to be there to celebrate with you and document the day! Counting down – xx, M

They became fast friends as melodies echoed off the walls of the choir rooms. The college was small and they often found themselves passing in the hallway or hanging out with the same group of friends. As the months passed, the two friends became inseparable. It wasn’t until one evening during the midst of a chaotic week of rehearsals and finals, that Adam finally summoned the courage to ask Emily where their friendship was headed. As her heart skipped a beat, she poured a glass of wine and thought of her answer.

Much to Adams surprise, she agreed to go on a date.  As word of their new relationship status spread around campus, Adam and Emily learned about the running bet that had been placed on the possibility of them dating in the future. They walked through campus hand in hand as money was exchanged between their friends and classmates.

Adam and Emily immediately knew that they wanted to visit their alma mater for their engagement session. As we walked through the campus, they reminisced, told stories full of nostalgia, and remarked at how much the college had changed in the few years it had been since they fell in love there. Emily and Adam, experiencing Alma with you was so fun and full of laughter – you two bring out so much joy in each other and I am counting down the days until your wedding! xx- M
