It’s one of those stories where they first noticed each other from across the room. Garrett couldn’t help but watch as the bubbly blonde girl crinkled her nose when she laughed and how the room revolved around her as she sat in the bar with her friends. Although Karlie was a bit distracted that night and claims she doesn’t recall meeting Garrett, he didn’t give up.  When they happened to meet again a short while later, Garrett pursued Karlie again. It was only after a few short dates that they knew they were meant to be together forever. 

They spent the next years traveling, adventuring, and creating a life together. Summers were spent on Garrett’s parents boat on Lake Michigan surrounded by family and friends. They would spend days exploring shops, restaurants, and being on the water, so it seemed fitting that we document their relationship on the lake where they fell in love. And as we explored the little town, Karlie and Garrett shared stories of their experiences and days spent in Saugatuck over the years. 

They’ll be married next year in what they described as a down-to-earth celebration with their closest friends and family. Karlie and Garrett, exploring your town with you was incredibly fun and it was such a joy getting to know you better! Counting down – M
