It was her cardinal rule that she would never talk to someone that didn’t have a bio written on the dating app. If they couldn’t bother to write out a few sentences, how dateable could they really be? But when her phone lit up and she saw Greg, something in her gut told her to make an exception. Once they started talking, she knew her gut had been right. Greg was devoted, funny, and made even the darkest circumstances so much brighter. It wasn’t shortly after their first date, where light conversation turned into deep, unending connection that both Alex and Greg mutually knew that they had found the one.
On a cold winter’s day on the ice rink, Alex could sense something was up. Additional family had followed along on what was originally supposed to be a date. Once again, her instinct was right, and Greg got down onto one knee among the Christmas lights and onlookers. Alex screamed yes, and they immediately started dreaming up their dream wedding for next October. Alex and Greg, you two are the biggest troopers and totally rocked your session on the yuckiest day of October! Fingers crossed that your October wedding date is full of sunshine, and I’m counting down the days! xx, M
