My wedding season is finally over, and as always, it’s bittersweet. I’m looking forward to a few open Saturdays that are devoted solely to bing-watching Netflix and eating Cheetos. But I’m also going to be a little sad every time I open my computer and there’s not another gorgeous wedding waiting for me to look through and edit. I’m also sorely going to miss having wedding cake almost every weekend. 2015 was a groundbreaking year for Indigo Lace Collective, and I met so many new couples, saw love grow in incredible ways, and had so many clients transform into wonderful friends.
I end this year with a bag full of new camera gear, a sister that has turned into an amazing second shooter and is well on her way to becoming a full business partner, a whole hard drive full of magical weddings that I was able to be a part of, my very own wedding now in the books, and a wonderful husband that I’m stuck with for the rest of my life.
I’m beyond excited and anxious to kick off 2016 weddings- which include road trips to Virginia and Colorado, a few elopements here and there, and some truly beautiful couples who are about to have the most wonderful weddings ever. But for now, let’s toast to 2015 and all of these bright souls who fell in love.
Cheers! -M
