She had the prettiest smile. The kind of smile that made her bright blue eyes twinkle. The kind of smile that lit up the room. The kind of smile that captured his heart in an instant. He was just a boy, smitten with a girl, and he knew he had to ask her to his high school formal. She said yes, and they spent the night talking and laughing amongst friends and classmates. They had no idea what the next 8 years would hold. 

Steve proposed during a hike through one of their favorite trails. He nervously hid the ring box in the pocket of his sweatshirt, even though the sweltering heat made wearing the sweatshirt almost unbearable. He proposed under their favorite tree, and before he could even get the words out, she was already answering his question with a giant YES. 

Their wedding day was full of sun, laughter, giant families, and loads of friends. The love and support enveloped Lauren and Steve from all directions. Hundreds of hugs and well wishes were given, dozens of happy tears were shed and a lifetime of blessings were bestowed.

Lauren + Steve, I wish you the very happiest of a lifetime together, and enjoy that wonderful chair by the pool at Villa Rolandi- I’m very jealous, but soak up paradise! xoxo- M
